Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning by providing specialized clerical and technical duties related to the assignment or placement, as well as related responsibilities requiring creative solutions to specialized site/department needs. Answer correspondence and assemble highly confidential and sensitive information. Interact with a diverse group of external customers as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize and carry out a diversified workload, and make recommendations for changes in office practices or procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provide secretarial support in the form of typing, word processing, filing, faxing.
Greet visitors, answer phone, respond to staff questions, maintain reception area
Input data into Excel spreadsheets.
Process SIS, Withdrawal, mileage and interpreter forms
Contact person for transportation forms
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
General secretarial/clerical skills including word processing, establish and maintain data bases.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to help, serve, and exchanging information.
Willingness to learn and use data management systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with early childhood centers staff and customers.
Salary: Class 3-B, $25.33 – $27.76 hourly (for 2025-26 school year)
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day
Bargaining unit: Osseo Administrative Professionals (OAP)
Job type: Full-time, 260/261 workdays per year
