A Maple Grove family near Wayzata High School is seeking a proactive, highly organized Family Assistant / Household Manager to support three children ages 10, 13, and 15.

Start date: August or early September; any time after August 17
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 1:00-6:00 PM
Compensation: $30-$35/hour DOE, 25 guaranteed hours/week
Employment: Legal pay through HomePay; mileage reimbursement; one PTO week selected by the family and one selected by the nanny; approximately one-year commitment, with potential to continue.

Before the children are home from school, responsibilities focus on household management: family meal preparation (chopping ingredients, assembling dinner bases, packing grab-and-go sports snacks); grocery pickups and household errands; family laundry; midday dog care; package returns and donation drop-offs; maintaining organized entryway drop zones; and household organization projects.

After school, responsibilities include helping the children stay on schedule and driving them to activities, especially the 10-year-old’s sports practices, with occasional transportation for the older children.

The ideal candidate is calm, patient, proactive, naturally organized, and experienced supporting school-age children with routines and executive-function needs. Strong meal-prep skills, a clean driving record, a reliable vehicle, and comfort with large dogs are essential. The family has two large dogs; the nanny may occasionally transport them to doggy daycare about once weekly, with a protective seat cover provided.

Parents do not work from home. The nanny may not bring their own child.
