Job summary:  To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and confidence to achieve their dreams, contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning by assisting teaching staff and student with instructional support in the classroom.
Responsibilities and tasks include:

Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social-emotional learning and behavior support to individual students.
Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups.
Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in the areas of reading and math.
Perform functions associated with classroom protocols.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Bargaining unit: Educational Support Professionals

Salary: Classification 2; View salary grid on the respective bargaining unit listed above, accessible via our Employee Contracts page

Work schedule: 8:50 – 3:20   Three hours clerical and 3 hours instructional

FTE: Part Time, 6 hours per day, School Days
