Position Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt, 15 Hours Per Week

Salary Range: $17-$21/hour

Position Overview:

Are you interested in helping early childhood educators thrive in their daily work with young children? The Center for Inclusive Childcare is seeking a part-time Early Childhood Support role.  The Center for Inclusive Child Care values racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity. Candidates we are seeking:

  • Bi-lingual/fluent in Spanish and English in speaking, reading and writing.
  • 5 years of experience providing direct service in early childhood education.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid MN state driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide community outreach that will recruit Early Childhood programs to participate in the Center for Inclusive Child Care’s programing.
  • Connect programs, families, and individuals to CICC resources and/or to community partners to access external support.
  • Contribute to the review, revision, or creation of CICC resource materials including tip sheets, written materials, podcasts, to provide translation of resource materials
  • Assist with community events and outreach about CICC with other CICC staff and provide interpretation during group meetings with community members to explain CICC’s services and provide resources.

 

Travel:

  • This position requires up to 50% travel typically within two hours from your home location.
  • Must be physically able to independently operate your own vehicle and travel independently throughout the region, and statewide as needed, which may occasionally require an overnight stay.
