Lead Infant Teacher
Hour Kids is seeking an experienced and reliable Lead teacher to join our team.
We are in search of someone that is passionate about child development and early education. Our ideal candidate is someone that genuinely wants to grow professionally. Staff support of our mission is imperative and could lead to further opportunities as we grow.
The Lead will work with our small group of toddlers and manage parent communication and supervision of infant room support staff. We are seeking a DHS Rule 3 qualified person with at least 1+ years experience as a lead teacher. Others may be considered based on education and experience in a previous center.
Exceptionally qualified candidates will have an AS or BA in Early Childhood or Child Development. A candidate with 16 college credits, or 20 quarter credits in Early Childhood (or similar field), as well as have at least 6 consecutive months of classroom experience will also be considered. Less qualified, but ‘willing to grow with us’ candidates can have either credits in another field plus classroom experience as an Aide, or have worked as an Assistant Teacher or Experienced Aide in another center to be eligible for consideration.
Compensation is competitive but based on qualifications.
