Our Child Care Connections Division seeks a North Dakota-based individual for the following position: ND QRIS ASSESSOR
Support the goals and objectives of Bright & Early ND, North Dakota’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS), by conducting onsite observations and assessments of participating child care and early education programs. Conduct onsite and virtual monitoring of ND’s Best in Class grantees. Collect and track data for both programs, author and share observation summary reports, and collaborate with QRIS colleagues and State partners.
CAPLP wishes to fill open positions throughout the State of ND to meet caseload distribution needs, with the potential for ND QRIS Assessors to home office.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must be a current Growing Futures Registry member (https://www.ndgrowingfutures.org/individuals)
· Current CDA Credential OR Associates degree or higher with at least 8 credits in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
o AND ability to attain a minimum of an associate degree or equivalent credits in Early Childhood Education/Child Development within 3 years
· Possess 2+ years of experience working directly with children ages birth – 8 years
· Strong interpersonal, organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
· Ability to work independently and within a flexible schedule
· Ability to attain an Infant, Toddler, and/or PreK CLASS Reliability Certificate within 3 months
· Ability to attain reliability in the ITERS-3, ECERS-3, and/or FCCERS-3 within 6 months
· Must pass a state of North Dakota Background Check
· Must hold a valid driver’s license, current insurance coverage if using own vehicle, and be able to arrange own transportation to meet with clients and conduct business within the assigned service delivery area
· Must be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus by the first day of employment with the agency (qualified religious or medical exemptions will be considered)
Preferred Qualifications:
· Have a current Infant, Toddler, and/or PreK CLASS Reliability Certificate
· Have a current established reliability in the ITERS-3, ECERS-3, and/or FCCERS-3
· Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
· Experience working with people in poverty.
