Per MN DCYF policy, Achieve only accepts official transcripts to verify Develop Members’ college credits, which are very important in determining your MN Career Lattice Step. Colleges and universities have strict policies around what makes their transcripts “official,” and each school has their own process for students and alumni to order them. Thankfully, most schools have online resources to make the process easier.

To order an official transcript to include with your Develop Individual Membership Application/Renewal:

1. Search the web for your school’s instructions. For example, search: “University of Minnesota Twin Cities order official transcript.”
2. Follow your school’s ordering instructions.
   1. Many schools charge a processing fee
3. Order your transcript and have it sent directly to Achieve as a “third-party recipient.”

   2. Consistent with most colleges’ policies, a transcript sent directly to the student’s email is intended for student use only and is not considered official if forwarded.
