Foundational, Advanced, Expert, and most Subject Specific Trainers must complete 30 Develop approved professional development (PD) hours to renew their Trainer Membership.

To stay on track, log in to your Develop profile to:

• Check your Trainer Membership expiration date
• Review your Training tab to track completed PD hours
• Search for upcoming Develop approved training opportunities.

Trainer Membership Renewal Process

Trainer Memberships are valid for five (5) years, except for Subject-Specific First Aid/CPR Trainers. You’ll receive an automated email from the Develop system when it’s time to renew. This is separate from your annual reminder to renew your Individual Membership—each Develop membership is managed separately.

You do not need to renew your Trainer Membership every time you renew your Individual Membership.

Renewing your Trainer Membership at the right time allows you to take full advantage of your approval period and track your required professional development renewal hours effectively.
