About Revival Mentoring
Revival Mentoring empowers justice-impacted and at-risk youth through mentorship, skill-building, and community connection. Our programs focus on emotional intelligence, goal-setting, cultural awareness, and civic engagement — supporting young people as they build the foundation for lifelong success.

Basic Function / Position Objective
The primary objective of the Mentor and Community Case Manager is to support and empower youth through one-on-one mentoring relationships while providing community case management services. This role involves guiding mentees towards personal, academic, and career goals, identifying their unique needs, connecting them with resources, and fostering their growth and resilience. We strongly encourage individuals who have navigated the justice system and wish to use their experiences to positively influence youth to apply.

Documentation Responsibilities
Maintain Records: Log virtual and in-person activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Weekly Updates: Provide weekly notes on your mentee’s progress, challenges, etc.
Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality standards, respecting the privacy and trust

Additional Responsibilities
Training Participation
Attend training sessions to enhance mentorship and case management skills.
Program Involvement & Adherence to policies
Participate in mentor/mentee group events, support groups, etc.
Follow all program guidelines, procedures, and ethical standards.
Personal Development
Engage in self-reflection and seek feedback to improve your effectiveness as a mentor and case manager.

Qualifications

Required
Age and Residency- Must be at least 18 years old, Reside in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
Commitment to Youth Empowerment- Demonstrate interest in supporting young people.
Communication Skills- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication abilities.
Reliability and Professionalism- Dependable in meeting time commitments and responsibilities. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards.
Organizational Skills- Capable of managing time effectively and keeping thorough records.
Transportation- Access to reliable transportation and valid auto insurance if applicable.
Lifestyle Example- Ability to model healthy and responsible behaviors.
Background Screening- Willing to complete application, screening process, including background checks.

Preferred
Experience- Prior experience in mentoring, coaching, counseling, social work, or related work.
Diverse Life Experiences- Individuals who have overcome personal challenges, including justice system involvement, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Cultural Competence- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Documentation- Allocate time for logging activities and submitting weekly reports.
Flexibility- Scheduling can accommodate personal and mentee availability to ensure meaningful engagement.
